Occam’s Razor and The White House Position On The Petraeus Affair….
A lot of Manospherians are commenting on the relational aspects of this whole debacle. And they are far more correct regarding the motivations of Petraeus and Broadwell.
However, the entire narrative is being used to divert the country away from the treasonous crimes this administration committed by denying available aid to American citizens and ambassadors abroad and watching them die. The Last Refuge does a brilliant job of collating and parsing the information and getting really into the truth of the matter.
This entire bit of political theater is designed and perpetrated to draw all attention away from those facts. They know for a fact that it will hold the attention of stupid Americans while they scrub their treason and blood off the walls.
I was very disheartened by the election. My immediate response is “Fool me once, shame on you (Obama); fool me twice, shame on me (America). I’m thinking we’re past the point where we can recover, and certainly will be at the end of another four years. And given what Obama did the previous four years, I’m thinking it doesn’t matter what he does the next four years, so long as he can keep the bread and circuses going.
Or let me be a bit more upbeat than that. We’re past the point of a moderately painful recovery. We’ll still recover, just in a very long and painful process. Go team.
